Turcademy is a local e-book platform developed to bring together all academic publications in Türkiye under a single portal, provide academics, researchers, and students with easy digital access to these publications, and contribute to the development of e-book publishing in Türkiye.
Drawing on the knowledge and experience gained through many years of partnerships and projects with international publishers, the project developers created the Turcademy e-book platform with the aim of contributing to the advancement of digital publishing in Türkiye. Designed to meet the needs of Türkiye’s academic publishing sector, Turcademy was initially launched with approximately 3,000 e-books. With the participation of Türkiye’s leading publishers and the addition of their valuable publications, the platform rapidly expanded its collection, reaching more than 16.000 titles in a short period of time. As a result, Turcademy has become a frequently used academic resource for students and researchers. Today, Turcademy is used by hundreds of thousands of students, academics, and researchers in their academic studies and is recognized as one of the platforms contributing to and leading the development of digital publishing in Türkiye.
The design and technical infrastructure of the Turcademy platform has been meticulously developed and completed by local engineers. Turcademy, which aims to provide a constantly renewed and user-friendly experience with its dynamic structure, will soon be supported by artificial intelligence technology. Thanks to this integration, platform users will have access to more advanced search results, personalized suggestions and various new features that will make their use easier.
